Donations to me are much appreciated but should not exceed the price of a pint really.

Alternatively, I encourage you to divert your contribution to the following highly deserving voluntary initiatives in my area (Ireland, Co. Clare):

The Clare Crusaders mission is to help Children with Special Needs in the areas of CerebralPalsy, Autism, Down Syndrome and a variety of other conditions. Their team of volunteer therapists provide assistance in schools from Clare region as well as in their own clinic. All funds are raised through volunteers and they do not receive government funding.

No Limits Surf Club is a non profit organisation that was established in 2010 following the success of the previous 2 years of surf sessions for kids with special needs run under the Surf2Heal banner.
The club is run with the assistance of the Aloha Surf School in Fanore and a team of committed, enthuasiastic volunteers, who give up their time, energy and expertise to share their love of the ocean and the enormous benefits that it brings to these young people and their families. 
As the sessions require the use of specialised surfing equipment and the assistance of many volunteers, the No Limits Surf Club is always looking for new volunteers, donations and sponsorship to ensure the future of the club.
