BlitzWolf BW-S25 75W 6 Ports Charging Station

The BlitzWolf® BW-S25 75W 6 Ports Charging Station is an evolution of the 65W BW-S16.

It's more powerful, comes with more ports and adds the PSS (Great! I'm about to buy a Samsung Galaxy!), SCP (Huawei owners, rejoice!)  and QC3.0 protocols to the list (PD3.0, QC2.0, AFC, FCP). In short it can charge more devices and faster!

I've slowed down reviewing products lately, trying to keep my website from becoming just a store display, but Banggood came literally twisting my arm by offering to send one of their own BlitzWolf brand products. 

So, (poor me 😇) I could not refuse!

What's in the box?

• A vertical stand that doubles as a smartphone/tablet stand, neat idea!
• A power cable
• A tiny user manual with a useful table identifying the ports and how the power can be shared between them.(basically the same as the table above)

  

Examples of real-life scenario:

The picture below shows how the S25 will spread the power among the ports with a priority given to the top ones. In any case it helps to know the power rating of your devices. 

The S25 is clever enough to not overload anyway. 

Typical use: 1 Smartphone + 1 Tablet + 1 Nintendo Switch + 1 Bluetooth headphones.

No problem, and that's just what I need when I travel.

Plugging a Lenovo Yoga (65W) alone will provide enough power. with a little left for slow-charging some devices on the bottom USB ports.

Lenovo Yoga again, with a Nintendo Switch (~11W, but much less in sleep mode) is okay, but anything more and the Yoga will get 45W only and complain about it. 

(Bad idea) Plugging a Dell Precision 5540 (130W): that's too big. It will not charge, and the laptop will not let you ignore that and warn you at boot.

In a 6 ports situation, the S25 can fast-charge 4 devices and slow-charge 2 others.

The stand is optional but is large enough to take tablets and smartphones with their case and even the Nintendo Switch console.

Conclusion: Compact, Powerful and Safe 

The BlitzWolf® BW-S25 75W 6 Ports Desktop Charging Station is a powerful and compact little marvel.

It meets most fast-charging standards adopted by today's devices.

 

It is the ideal charger to bring on a trip with the typical mix of electronic gear we tend to take with us everywhere: small laptop, tablet, eBook reader, smartphones, portable game console and headphones.
